Nate, a big kid at heart with a big kid idea. After going through many different jobs throughout the years, with the birth of his daughter he decided it was time to get back to being the overgrown child he'd always been, so, armed with some scrap cardboard and an idea (and taking up space at the dinner table) Hades Industries was born and the rest, as they say, is history. Now in business creating props and replicas for close to 4 years, Hades Industries caters to cosplayers and collectors the world over and has grown from a few small products to over 60 available products and over 100 completed commissions and still growing. Using wood and traditional methods, hand tools and a lot of good old Aussie elbow grease, Hades Industries creates high quality props by creating, moulding and casting your favourite pieces from your favourite fandoms and making them available to you! Now expanding into props and breakaways for the film industry, Hades Industries is a one man army, armed to the teeth. Hades Industries will be presenting a panel on prop creation; from idea to fruition and will be talking about what it means to be a prop maker. They'll also be discussing the use of Replica and prop weapons in the film industry in light of the safety concerns raised by the recent tragedy on the filming of a music video

My love of art began from childhood. As a boy I could only draw purely from my imagination, I could not copy or paint until many years later. I loved to create artwork from my imagination. It wasn't until the age of 11 that I first realised I could copy as well from pictures and photographs. But at that stage I still couldn't paint not until I reached my late teens. After leaving high school I studied Fine Arts for 3 years at college. The course subjects included painting, drawing, photography, sculpture and printmaking.
