planet 55 studios!

Planet 55 Studios is a new young and exciting production house that prides itself on reinvigorating Australian animation for a whole new generation of viewers. Having previously been based on the Central Coast (now based in St Leonards), and utilising local animators, the studio can boast that all it’s animation has been done within Australia, proving that Australia can be a serious contender in the global production of animation. Due to its quality in animation, Planet 55 Studios was chosen to animate episodes of the classic BBC series Doctor Who (Doctor Who: The Tenth Planet & Doctor Who: The Moonbase) that had been unfortunately lost over the years. Using only the original audio and off-screen stills, Planet 55’s team were able to recreate the characters and sets to re-tell the inter-stellar stories that are loved the world over. Planet 55 Studios has since created an original fast-paced sci-fi action adventure series called Prisoner Zero that aired on ABC ME late last year. The 26 episode saga follows the exploits of teen heroes, Tag and Gem, and their mysterious friend Prisoner Zero as they traverse the universe in an attempt to dismantle the tyrannical Imperium. With a unique style of 2D animation that showcases the talent of Australian artists, Prisoner Zero has won over the hearts of children and young adults everywhere. Planet 55 Studios is now branching into live action and graphic novels, and are currently in development for multiple exciting projects. If you are a Whovian, fan of animation, or just interested in the industry, there will be a screening followed by a Q&A panel with key series creatives. Planet 55 Studios are also delighted to be giving away DVD copies of Prisoner Zero on the day.

HADES INDUSTRIES

Nate, a big kid at heart with a big kid idea. After going through many different jobs throughout the years, with the birth of his daughter he decided it was time to get back to being the overgrown child he'd always been, so, armed with some scrap cardboard and an idea (and taking up space at the dinner table) Hades Industries was born and the rest, as they say, is history. Now in business creating props and replicas for close to 4 years, Hades Industries caters to cosplayers and collectors the world over and has grown from a few small products to over 60 available products and over 100 completed commissions and still growing. Using wood and traditional methods, hand tools and a lot of good old Aussie elbow grease, Hades Industries creates high quality props by creating,

moulding and casting your favourite pieces from your favourite fandoms and making them available to you! Now expanding into props and breakaways for the film industry, Hades Industries is a one man army, armed to the teeth. Hades Industries will be presenting a panel on prop creation; from idea to fruition and will be talking about what it means to be a prop maker. southernstorm art

Hi, I'm David I am a Sydney based artist, graduate in Fine arts. I cover a range of subjects and styles in various mediums, especially acrylic paint and pencil drawings. I offer custom paintings from your photo's if required.

My love of art began from childhood. As a boy I could only draw purely from my imagination, I could not copy or paint until many years later. I loved to create artwork from my imagination. It wasn't until the age of 11 that I first realised I could copy as well from pictures and photographs. But at that stage I still couldn't paint not until I reached my late teens. After leaving high school I studied Fine Arts for 3 years at college. The course subjects included painting, drawing, photography, sculpture and printmaking.

Swordcraft is set in the pre-1600’s era, mixed with high fantasy. Witches, orcs, knights in shining armour, faeries, barbarians, vikings, elves, dwarves, and many, many more, take the field every week to claim territory and gold in the land of Althea.

archery tag

Archery Tag has been running In Australia Since December 2013. Armstrong Tag Archery was the first business to bring Archery Tag and S.A.F.E Archery to Australia. Archery Tag is the newest and hottest family friendly combat sport that can be played indoors or out and utilises archery with patented foam-tipped arrows to play the game. The game is played with two opposing teams. The object is to knock out all of the targets in the oppositions field or elimitate all opposing players by hitting them with an "Archery Tag" arrow. A 6 meter hit will feel a little like a flat tennis ball hitting you. You know you got hit: No bruise no damage just a load of fun. Archery Tag can be played just about anywhere indoors or outdoors - any sports field, tennis courts, open paddock, conference hall, basketball court etc. Open Space approval required for public space.

Age range - Archery tag is for 12 years and up for open events. We can bend the rules for family groups. We have had a 73rd birthday and hope we see all generations have the opportunity to shoot each other.
